anyone know how to put escape sequences in a file using vi?
i would like to put backspaces in my .plan.

Try typing <control> V before doing it. The <control> V forces vi to
take the next control character literally.

Easy. You must first be in insert mode, then press CTRL-V, then press the
backspace key. Of course, this works with other sequences, like ESC.
