Is there away to post to newsgroups from the shell?
This is the news server they are using here:

200 nntp.csuchico.edu InterNetNews NNRP server INN 1.5.1sec2 25-Jul-1997
ready (posting ok).

Yes.  

After getting access to the server (usually by telnetting to port 119),

Use the POST command.  

Follow it by header lines, a blank line, your post body lines, and
finally a line with just a period.

Maybe you can find the "inews" or the "pnews" command on your
system.

1. Reading HTTP POST Variables in Shell Variables - HOW?

Hello-
        I need to read variables posted from a www form into shell
enviromental variables.  I can do it with the GET method, but I don't want
Passwords to show up in clear-text on the Location line, thus I need to use
the POST method... Anyone have any Ideas about how to read these variables in?
