Hello, everyone. I use some limited UNIX commands in my computer, but I have
never learned UNIX systematically. Recently I want to buy a UNIX book and
learn more about UNIX. Among the several books that I have had a look at in
bookstore and library, I feel "The UNIX C shell field guide" (by Gail Anderson
and Paul Anderson) is the best. But it was published in 1986,and I know
computer languages change very fast. So, is it still good enough and worth to
buy? Or instead, do you know any book which is better than the above one? A
UNIX learner needs experts' opinions.
Thank you.
