TIN and offline readers

Is a TIN offline reader available??  Or is it necessary for me to read the usenet messages while I remain online?

1. Request: Offline News with tin HOWTO or FAQ ?

Hi there,

this quetion supposed to be very easy to answer, but I didn't find anything
about it in the Howto's.
The Question is howto build an Offline News reading and posting system using
a slip connection and the tin newsreader.
It actually works if I'm online via NNTP, but it's dead slow and
that's all that I found in the News-Howto

If there is another howto, please let me know or send me Mail how to do it.

TIA

Sven
