  I wish (need) to find a QuickTime viewer that runs under Unix.

  What is your suggestion ?

I just tried a web search at www.e*.com using 'QuickTime AND "X Window"'
and turned up a program called XAnim at:

http://www.veryComputer.com/~tebo/Tools/xanim.html

Looks like it has what you want.

How about plug-in for UNIX?

Seems not available at this time yet.

IMO what xanim can't do is not worth doing. Plays all sorts of movies,
sounds, and pictures excellently.
