Basic basic troff question??!

Basic basic troff question??!

Post by Jeffrey Smar » Mon, 20 Jul 1992 15:32:41

G'day,

I know this is really simple (too simple for an FAQ!) but:

how can I use troff or nroff to print a troff or nroff document (such as
the source of a man page) to either my screen or a plain line printer?

Jeff.

On the SunSparc2 the command 'man -t [arg]' will print the manual page
for [arg] in a troff looking format.

1. Basic, Basic SCSI Question

OK, don't laugh at me for asking this, but I am new to SCSI.  I know there
are different versions of SCSI devices, such as Ultra, Fast-Wide, etc.  Is
there a good guide somewhere on the internet which describes the different
versions?  I'm getting lost.

Also,  if I have a SCSI-2 interface, can I plug in non SCSI-2 devices into
it (such as Fast-Wide, SCSI-1, etc.)?

Thanks,
