How can I append or merge two text files together in UNIX? is there any
commands to do that?

cat file1.txt file2.txt > merged.txt

If you mean something more specialized than "append or merge," you'll
have to be more specific.

  cat file1 >> file2

this will append the contents of file1 to file2.
