by I am in the process of gathering information for a massive computer
project in conjunction with an engineering student at Texas A&M. This
project will hopefully include samples of every type of computer info
available. Examples might be: Hacking/Phreaking and Legalities concerning
this "art", the *punk Movement, History of Computers, PC or Mainframe
architecture, Programming (any and all languages accepted), etc... I am
sure you get the general (very general) idea... If you can think of it
and it deals with computers, feel free to send me info on it. There is
no time limit whatsoever, at this point in time. We are just in the info
compiling stage. I can not offer any money for this info, but I assure
you that full acknowledgements will be given to you in the finished
project...(as if that's of major concern to you, I'm sure... :) ).
IF THIS IS AT ALL UNCLEAR WHAT IT IS THAT I WANT, THINK OF IT THIS
WAY. PRETEND THAT YOU ARE WRITING A RESEARCH PAPER OF YOUR OWN FOR
SOME REASON. THE ONLY RESTRICTION IS THAT IS PERTAIN TO COMPUTERS.
RESEARCH THE TOPIC, AND WRITE YOUR PAPER, ESSAY, OR WHATEVER AND
RATHER THAN TURNING IT IN TO A BOSS OR PROFESSOR, EMAIL IT TO ME.
ALL I ASK IS THAT IT DEAL WITH COMPUTERS AND THAT YOU INCLUDE YOUR
NAME AND EMAIL ADDRESS WITH IT SO I CAN CONTACT YOU AND SO THAT I
MIGHT GIVE FULL CREDIT WHERE IT IS DUE...
