I have been using unix on HP and SUN platform for over 2 years now
and like it very much. Right now, I am considering running unix on 286 and
386 machine and eventually running X window on them. However, my knowledge
on pc-based unix is very limited. Could someone tell me :
How many kind of unix are there?
Where can I obtain them?
How much they cost?
How much memory I need?
How much disk space is needed?
And any information you think is relevant.
I will summarize and post responses.
