Hello

I have a problem, we have a DAT stremer and we would like to find som
src code to run it better then today. I we wan't to write a file down on to
the DAT it has to read over all the previusly writen files and then write
the file down. We have the same prob with reading files that are far back in
line so to say.. Now we use tar, if you have any ideas or have some good src
or shell mail me

1. F: HP DAT-STREAMER FüR LINUX

Some Unix variants need tapes that identify themselves as 'tape
archives', not DAT's. I do not know if Linux is concerned with that, but
it is widely said that Linux works great with all SCSI tapes.
