        This depends on the Unix shell.  Under tcsh, the arrow keys will
do command-line recall and editing like Doskey's.  To get a set of
personalized Doskey-like commands, you can use the Unix alias command in
the following format:

alias newcommand "oldcommand string"

putting as many such lines as you wish in the .login or .cshrc file that
is executed by your shell at startup.
