Hi folks,
I need help ASAP in setting up communication for a leased line connection
between a Sun Sparc 10/41 (SunOS 4.1.3) and an IBM RS/6000 (AIX 3.2.3), and I
have no experience in this.
I thought I'd be getting a phone number and so I would use UUCP.....but
there is no phone number! I have Telebit T2500 modems on each end, if I
cannot use UUCP, how does the two machines communicate? If I need public
domain programs, please tell me how to get it. I don't have a direct
connection into the Internet, but I can ask UUNET to get it for me.
I'd really appreciate any help you all can give me. Thanks in advance,
and please reply through email as I cannot read news everyday.
THANKS!
