1. need help learning how to do graphics on Unix

All,

    I am looking for an "easy" way to do simple graphics in Unix.  Either in
shell (preferably csh) or the C programming language.  ANY ADVICE is welcomed.
Also, is there any 'man' pages for doing your own graphics in Unix?
