Can you define these variables in /etc/system (solaris), or point me to
a web resource that does?

    semsys:seminfo_semmni
    semsys:seminfo_semume
    semsys:seminfo_semmnu
    semsys:seminfo_semmns
    semsys:seminfo_semusz
    semsys:seminfo_semmap

Thanks,

David

Well, it just goes to show that if you DIG, and I mean DIG long and hard enough,
you can find just about anything on the net.

Here it is:

The book "The Magic Garden Explained" also describes theses as
well as the other SVR4 IPC tunable parameters in pretty fair detail

1. HELP -- Resource Limits Question

Hi Unix gurus,

I want to set limits on users' processes. But when the limits are
reached, especially when the CPU time limit is reached, the user process
would simply quits. Is there anyway to turn on some kind of logging so
that I can catch those events.

Thanks.
