ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/FreeBSD-stable/src/

Will contain the sources for the -stable branch of the FreeBSD operating
system. Look around in the kernel (under sys/) and userland libraries
(lib/libc/net) for a good start.

Hope this helps - http://www.freebsd.org for more information on FreeBSD.
Try NetBSD (www.netbsd.org) or OpenBSD (www.openbsd.org) if you're not
on an i386 or alpha machine (sources to these two systems are located
in a similar location on their ftp servers).
