        Top tier NYC based global investment bank seeks programmer/analysts
with strong object oriented design and implementation experience with
C++ or Smalltalk.  Analytical application development experience with a
strong quantitative (math, physics, engineering) educational background
is essential.  Join a team effort in developing new systems for a

1. **US-NY-NYC-UNIX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR-NYC INVESTMENT BANKING

    MULTIPLE POSITIONS WITH MAJOR NEW YORK CITY FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS

DUTIES:

Provide technical expertise within a team that will support UNIX based
workstations and servers in a Trading Environment. The primary duties
will be oriented towards System Administration of a multi-vendor
client-server UNIX environment.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* HARDWARE/SOFTWARE

SUN SPARC stations and SPARC servers, SUN/OS (mandatory)
DEC RISC workstations and servers, DEC Ultrix (desired)
IBM RS6000 workstations and servers, IBM AIX (optional)
NeXT workstations, NeXT OS (optional)

In-depth knowledge of UNIX System Administration procedures and methods.
In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP & NFS in an ethernet-based LAN.
Knowledge of Sybase relational database System Administration fns (optional).
Novell & Apple integration experience (desired).

OTHER REQUIREMENTS/COMMENTS:

1-8 years experience in user support and administration in a
Unix-based distributed workstation system. Must have a good appreciation
of user needs and the ability to work well with people in different
situations. Wall-Street experience or Financial Institution experience
is highly desirable.

Salary $40K-$90K + bonus
