Can anyone provide me with information about APIs that will allow me
to interface with Business Objects from UNIX?

What is "Business Objects"?  Some like some kind of abstract academic
kind of thing :-)

This depends on what kind of infrastructure/middleware the business
objects in question are based on -- RPC, Corba, COM, something else?
