How do I determine/set the resource limit for processes, like CPU time,
memory limit, etc...? I'm using RedHat Linux. Please tell me it doesn't have
to be compiled into the kernel.
I think (anybody correct if I'm wrong) that to adjust the max number of
processes per user, you need to recompile the kernel.

No, you don't have to recompile the kernel. At least on Linux. :)Quote:>I think (anybody correct if I'm wrong) that to adjust the max number of

I've tried to configure snmpdx, but have given up all
hope. No matter what I do, snmpdx.acl always
generates a syntax error.
Where are the SUN mibs which deal with getting
cpu, memory, disk space stats?
