Solaris 2.6 recvfrom() with a raw socket...

If the message being received is longer than the buffer you are
writting to, what happens to the rest of the message?  The man pages
state that with a SOCK_DGRAM, the extra data is discarded...but I cant
find any information one what happens to the extra data with a SOCK_RAW.
