1. US-OR-Portland - Unix System Administrator - One Year Contract

                         UNIX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

There is an Unix System Administration position open in
Portland, OR for a one year, plus possible extensions, contract
with an agency that provides support on government projects.  

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of two years' experience with Unix System
Administration, plus a four-year scientific or engineering
degree, U.S. citizenship and seven years data processing
experience are required.  Additional desired experience is
TCP/IP, Novell, LAN/WAN and Windows NT.  

DUTIES:

Perform Unix System Administration duties including preparing
documentation and user instructions relating to networking,
access to systems and use of network configurations and
diagnostic tolls.  Implement networking systems associated with
TCP/IP, Unix and X-Windows.  Assist in the implementation of
WAN and LAN connections with the Headquarters office and other
supported offices.  Assist in the implementation of LAN
protocols including Unix, Windows for Workgroups, Windows NT
and NT/AS.  Responsible for networking issues related to
Networking in support of water control data collections.
Provide assistance and guidance relating to networking
nstallations and troubleshooting.
