How to associate curses with /dev/tty

How to associate curses with /dev/tty

Post by Pim Zandberg » Sat, 22 Aug 1992 17:17:11

I want to be able to do something like
        command1 | curses_program | command2

This would require curses to associate stdwin with
/dev/tty rather than stdin and stdout.

How do I do this ?

1. How do I associate a /dev/tty file to a terminal server port

I have a remote serial devices that generate realtime data.

I want to connect the devices to the ports on an HP terminal server

I want a linux box to manage the terminal server and mount the
ports as /dev/tty files.

Does anyone know how this can be accomplished?

Any advice would be appreciated
