The Technical Infrastructure Group is a flat and entirely business focused support
and development capability. This encourages a dynamic support approach across
all European operations, either face to face or remotely. Problem ownership and
support commitment are what dictate the success of the group. The focus is on
market data feeds and dealing room support, incorporating Sun Server and
Workstation systems.
Reporting into the Technical Infrastructure Manager, the UNIX Systems
Administrator will have the desire to take on more than pure administration and
support. We are looking for an individual who will already have proven their
expertise in these areas, and who is also seeking a broader role.
The key requirement is for a minimum of 2 years' Solaris experience (development
and support). Ideally this will be supplemented by knowledge of, and a genuine
interest in Tibco administration, Windows NT and RDBMS administration. Equally
as important will be the personality behind this technical expertise - we seek an
excellent team player who can demonstrate true commitment, adaptability, and a
genuine desire to further their career in an empowering organisation.
