Parallel port devices (SCSI, Tape, Ethernet adapter) on Xenix/Unix

Hello Netters,

I've recently started to use the Toshiba T1900C/200, to do work 'on the road'.
It does Dos 6.0, Windows 3.1 and also SCO Xenix 2.3.4 with VP/ix
Except from VP/ix not being able to 'reach' the Extended Dos partition,
nor use Windows, everything seems to work quite nicely.

The Toshiba T1900 howerver, has no room for internal (nor external)
extension cards.
Using Dos this doesn't need to be a problem for the 'most usual' type of
expansion.

Using Dos, I can plug in extra stuff on the Parallel port to allow
  - Network access to the Ethernet,   TCP/IP or Novell
  - Parallel tape streamer
  - SCSI adapter allowing external HDD, or CD-ROM
  - Handyscope ... Digital scope

Wouldn't life with the T1900 be nice if I could also be doing this from
within (one of the sessions of) Sco Xenix.
Currently I cannot backup the stuff from the Xenix partition, not get
net-acces while running xenix.

I was wondering if maybe, someone has a solution for this (other than use
a different computer).
Maybe   ... Specific supplier adds Parallel port support for xenix   ?
... Can release complete control from Parallel port to VP/ix ?
(Some Dos-based program can then at least take over part)
        ... ??
Someone must have delt with the situation before... I guess ??

Thanks in advance for some solutions,

Gerard.

Hello Netters,
Here's a re-post due to complete lack of response...
I'd very much like someone to come forward with some Parallel port
solutions..
