I'm a final year Mechanical Engineering student at Imperial College, London
and here is my problem. I simply need to know the device name of the parallel
port of the DEC 3000 work station. I rang digital and they basically didn't
know. I also need to know if the output if pulsed or constant.
Why do I need to know this?. Well my final year project requires that I
remotely control a cut-away of a 4-stroke and a 2-stroke engine via the
internet so what i'm going to do is use the +5v 0amp output to control a relay
which will in turn control a motor.

sorry that some of my site is rubbish because I've been putting time into my
final year studying...
I would be very thankful of any help you could give.
