M_PROTO information

Hi,

Does anyone know what information is in an M_PROTO section of a message?
I need to know enough information to be able to generate one.  I have
found that the ire_ll_hdr_length in an ire_t structure seems to indicate
the length of M_PROTO information prepended before the M_DATA.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much.
