unix process related information -suggestion needed

Would some kind soul suggest some readings on how to manipulate
the execution stack, implement light weight processes(simulate
logical context switch), and use signal contexts, and so on.
I hope you get the idea.  All under Unix.  Thanks a lot.

I don't have a reference (other than it has a .ps extension and is in the
technical papers section of the wuarchive.wustl.edu anonymous FTP site and
I have a copy in front of me), but you may want to check out:

The problem is not amenable to a general soloution.  You may want to ask
Brown University for a copy of "Brown-Threads", and you may want to get a
copy of "sigsched" (check archie for it).
