Have you checked your Cobol options? There may be a option which saves the C
source code. Sometimes the compilers generate code, which is then input into a
C compiler. Don't know about Micro Focus.

Is/are there utilities to view and edit data files created under
Micro Focus COBOL?  'od' doesn't quite do it.
