hello,
    i would be real grateful if u could give some pointers to good
sites or books for low level device io programming in unix. more
detail the better.

1. HELP: /var filesystem fills. df information != du information

1: df insists /var if full. Yet kbytes avail != kbytes used
2: du report of amount used != df report of amount used
