Hi,
I am looking for a simple program
csh or 'C' that can intercept and
copy all of the characters that
appear in a UNIX window.
This whould save me having to cut
and paste the entire window as a
log at the end of the day.
Thanks

That's when using xterm, at least.  Speaking of, has AIX finally fixed
the old infamous security hole with "xterm -l -lf named_pipe"?

hello,

some systems provide the "script" program...
"man 1 script", should give you more info

1. Is it possible to intercept I/O of a program?

I am using an interactive program wich accepts command from standard input
and output messages to standard output. Is it possible to intercept
its input/output (and do further processing) by using some kind of shell
languages or front-end processors?

Thanks!
