There is a new device driver development tool available for Solaris. It
does not require DDI/DKI knowledge and supports any PCI/ cPCI/ ISA based
hardware.

The product is called WinDriver (by KRFTech) and is available on Solaris
2.6 and 2.7 (Intel and Sparc). A driver written using this tool will
also
run on Linux and Windows NT/2000, 95/98, CE and OS/2 (write the driver
once
run anywhere).

Check out www.krftech.com/wd-solaris.html for more details.
