was wondering if anti-aliasing works in freebsd. Anyone know?

1. Anti-aliasing in FreeBSD Xfree
Does XFree in 4.6.2 support anti-aliased fonts?
I came across an article in a magazine a while ago which ISTR said
that for copyright reasons (something to do with Apple?) anti-aliasing
was off by default in XFree 4 and had to be recompiled to get it
going again.
3. Anti-aliasing not working in KDE 3.0
5. (Fixed) fonts don't work right when anti-aliasing is enabled
7. anti-aliasing don't works ?
