Installtrouble with Tekram 390U scsicard and 3.4

Hello

Ive got trouble installing freeBSD on a machine with a tekram 390U
scsicard. I can boot kern and mfsroot, but during the following
bootprocess i get a series of errors like this: 'ncr0 nccb: error
0xc14??0c0: (SKIP)' The questionmarks represent numbers that change for
every error, somtimes its 17, 16, 25, 24 etc etc.
Since theres no problems under winNT or linux on the same machine, I doubt
its hardwarerelated.

Anyone??

thanks
-morten

It is rumoured that MLINDHOLM had the courage to say:

I think you should try to use the sym driver for the Tekram 390 series
instead of the ncr driver. I've a Tekram 390U2W running with the sym0
driver here flawlessly.
