SCSI generic scanner driver (FBSD 2.2.6)

Post by Josef Moeller » Fri, 08 May 1998 04:00:00

Hi to y'all,

The README file in sys/scsi says that there exists a top end driver for
Generic scsi-II scanners. I have searched the entire source tree but am
unable to find a reference to T_SCANNER or a reference to a scsi scanner
driver.

Any pointers/hints?

TIA,

Josef

i am using an HP Scanjet5p recognised as the 'uk' (unkonwn) scsi device
and driving it with a locally modified copy of hpscanpbm.c -- you can
find it at http://www.iet.unipi.it/~luigi/hpscanpbm.c

a top-level program for this is tkscan (i got it from linux -- does not
take long to configure it, it uses hpscanpbm for accessing the scanner)
