I just recently installed 2.2.2 and was able to compile and install a custom
kernel. I have since needed to reconfigure. Doing so gave the following
error when I ran "make all":
gcc -c -O -Wreturn-type -Wcomment -Wredundant-decls -Wimplicit
-Wnested-externs -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -Wpointer-arith
-nostdinc -I- -I. -I../.. -I../../../include -DAPM_BROKEN_STATCLOCK
-DFAILSAFE -DCOMPAT_43 -DCD9660 -DMSDOSFS -DNFS -DFFS -DINET -DKERNEL
../../kern/kern_clock.c machine/cpufunc.h: In function `hardclock':
machine/cpufunc.h:331: inconsistent operand constraints in an `asm'
*** Error code 1
Stop.
I then tried it on the GENERIC kernel to see if I had added something bad,
and got the same results.
What could I have done to cause this? Like I said, I just compiled it fine
last week.
Any help would be appreciated.
