installation problems

Hello,

I'm trying to install the release 4.7 in a Pentium 100 with a PCI graphics
card and a ISA ethernet card (IO=0x300, IRQ=5).

I have created the two disks (kern and nfsroot) and I have started the
installation.

When I arrive to the visual  kernel configuration it says that there are 7
conflits, but when I remove the network cards that doesn't apply, the
conflicts dissapear.

It's OK until now.

When I press the Q option and save the configuration, the system starts to
show the detected devices :
.....
ata0: at 0x1f0 irq ....
ata1: at 0x170 irq ...
pci0: <Cirrus Logic GD5434 SVGA controller> at 12.0

and the system stops in that line, the floppy light is on, but it doesn't
continue.

What can I do?
May be a problem of the graphics card?

Thank you for your help.

1. installation problem - system restart in the middle of installation

I have been trying to install Red Hat Linux 7.1 on a system that has
Win 98. But during the installation of linux, my computer will restart
for no apparent reason. Sometimes it will restart while loading the
configurations or sometime during file copying. Does anyone know a
solution to this problem??

I tired install Win 2000 on the same system and the same thing happens
too.
