Use /stand/sysinstall (connected to the net) and go to index <enter>
in Options change the version to FreeBSD-current hit Q then go to
Packages and use the main ftp server. You should have no problems now.
If you still have problems you may have to download the package and use
pkg_add to install.

You might try jumpering your cdrom to slave.  I've heard of quite a few
successes with this trick.

1. FreeBSD 3.0 and Installed Packages

Hi Again.

I got my 2nd HD installed and placed the 3.0-Release distribution on it.
Installation went without a hictch.

During the install, I opted to install enlightenment and xv.

Both are now reporting problems with some libraries (excuse, but I'm not
totally familiar here, so bear with me) that are linked in at run time.

One is libFn something or other, which I believe should have been installed
with one of the packages that enlightenment is dependant upon.  The other is
libxrb, which xview requires.

Can someone please point me in the right direction on how I may correct
these problems.

Regards,

DAVID H.
