dsl, freebsd, setup

I am about to get a static ip and am going to host a simple
web-server. I want to setup my machines before I get the service
though. My thinking is that I setup a freebsd machine as a
gateway/firewall and then I have a windows machine and a linux machine
I do work off of. The freebsd machine is where I am lost. I would
rather use a linux machine, but I hear freebsd is safer out of the box
for security. Second, I guess I would have to use the freebsd machine
for dhcpd. I think that covers my question?

1. Question: T-ISDN / T-DSL under FreeBSD? (German)

Excuse me, because it's concerning German products, I'd like write in
German instead of English.

Also, ich habe einen T-ISDN Anschluss neu erworben. Und ich moechte damit
auch online moeglich. Da ich die MS Produkte nicht glaube und BSD-Famillie
fuer alltag benutze, wird ich auch in Zukunft meinen Internet-Zugang mit
FreeBSD bzw. OpenBSD betreiben lassen. Es bleibt fuer mich folgende offene
Fragen:

1. Als T-ISDN benutzer, brauche ich eine ISDN-Karte? (Ich habe gelesen, ein
PPPoE fuer T-DSL nur eine Ethernetkarte erfordlich. vielleicht falsch,
:-P

2. Fuer das Kabel, zwischen NTBA und Ethernetkarte, ist das ein cross-over
oder ein straight cable?

3. Wie konfiguriere ich mein System, so dass ich einfach ins Netz gehen
koennte. Sowohl T-ISDN als auch T-DSL.

4. gibt es weitere Infos fuer T-ISDN und T-DSL?

Ich bedanke mich fuer jedes Tipp, Ihr muesste nicht alle beantworten koennen.
