does this look like comp.unix.sunos ? even though there isn't any
such group.

Shouldn't give out your number when asking such questions.

try taking this file and running it through
'nroff -man < filename | more'.  it is troff
source for a Unix manual page.

Oh, Sun OS might not have nroff though, I think
it might be an option with that OS (at the time
it was part of the writer's workbench I think.)
