web-based threaded discussion package

web-based threaded discussion package

Post by r.. » Tue, 16 Dec 1997 04:00:00

I was wondering if anyone was aware of a package that could
be used on a web server to simulate the functionality of a news
server.  I'm basically just looking for a simple threaded news
reader look and feel for a small user community (less than 10)
to provide a discussion area without having to install a news
transport system like cnews.

I was browsing around the ports area of the ftp site and didn't
see anything that would fit this description.

If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be quite grateful.

Regards,

Chris

These may not be exactly what you're looking for, but both have threaded
discussions.
