MAC/PPP <---> FreeBSD PPP --->modem---> ISP

MAC/PPP <---> FreeBSD PPP --->modem---> ISP

Hi,
  I'm sure this has been asked and answered a thousand times, but I
cannot locate the answer by searching through the archives. I have a
PC box (Cyrix P166+) running FreeBSD 2.2.2, and am using user-level
ppp over a modem to connect to an ISP (dynamic IP). I just got a MAC
(powerPC) and want to connect the MAC to the FreeBSD box, and use the
FreeBSD box as a router to the internet. I don't want to give up user
level PPP, since I have it working perfectly with -auto mode. I use
192.168.64.1 as my FreeBSD box. Also, I have a serial cable which
connects my MAC ModemPort (GeoPort?) to a serial port on the PC
(sio0). I want the MAC and PC to be able to use PPP over the modem
simultaneously, too.  I've seen mention of "proxyarp" but I don't have
any details.  Can someone send me detailed help of how to do this? I'm
sure many out there are probably running similar local nets.
 Thanks,
david
