pcvt, XFree, and <Ctrl><Alt><Del>

Is there any way to enable (<Ctrl><Alt><Del> => reboot) using pcvt?
XFree? This worked for syscons, but not for pcvt. It also has never
seemed to work with XFree.

pcvt has some rudimentary code that could cause a system reset when
hitting ctrl-alt-del.  It is disabled by default.  Should you wish to
enable it, replace the call to cpu_reset() by a call to
shutdown_nice() -- this will probably make you more happy. ;)

The X server catches all keyboard events, and doesn't interact in any
way with the kernel when seeing ctrl-alt-del.  If you've got the
Xserver sources, you should be able to hook a

        kill(1, SIGINT);

when it detects this key sequence.  Maybe you can also make your
window manager catching this and execute /sbin/shutdown (which is
executable by all members of group operator).

Never trust an operating system you don't have sources for. ;-)

I have a 10 GB UDMA IDE drive formatted with Windows.  The first partition
is FAT32, and the second is NTFS.  I can successfully mount the first, but
not the second.  Any ideas?

Suse 7.2 on i86
the drive is mounted on /dev/hdc, and I CAN see hda1, but not hda2
