C++ Programming IDE for FBSD?

Auburn University released a port of it's GRASP pseudo-IDE for Linux (it
is based on Motif; I haven't been able to work out some
incompatibilities with Lesstif yet) in binary executable form (meaning
you'll need Linux support installed).  It is located at
http://www.eng.auburn.edu/department/cse/research/grasp/grasp_main.html
It was first designed around the Ada language, and I really haven't
played with it's handling of C code, but it works as a pretty good IDE
given the relative scarcity of them for this platform.

I've tested and run GRASP myself on FreeBSD, it works rather well.  I'd
love to see an HP-UX port so I can play around on *all* my platforms
though :)

Another victim of public education?

Krzysztof Zmudzinski

P.S.  Dear flamers, I know I am not supposed to correct somebody
else's spelling in news groups, and I normally don't.  I have,
however, seen this error so many times that I belive there is
a big problem with how some of us use the English language in public
forum.  One thing is to commit a simple typo while typing fast,
another is to make the same grave grammatical error twice in a short
paragraph.  Go ahead, you may now flame me :)

Okay... I *do* have GRASP installed here but I haven't been running it
because apparently when I first installed it I get the following runtime
message:
  ELF binary type not known
  Abort trap
My earlier post (must have) referred to when I ran GRASP on a Linux
machine.  I have the Linux emulation libraries and runtime mod loaded
(modstat(8) spits out
Type     Id Off Loadaddr Size Info     Rev Module Name
  EXEC      0   4 f5196000 001c f519c010   1 linux_mod
  DEV       1  30 f519e000 01d9 f51e6054   1 oss_mod
), so why do I get this error?  I am running FreeBSD 2.2.1.  I can run
other ELF binaries... 'file grasp' returns 'ELF 32-bit LSB executable,
Intel 80386, version 1'.  Any ideas?  I is be trying to make run these
program ;-).
