frame buffer device now supported?

Does 4.5 support the frame buffer device (i. e. text consoles in
graphics mode)? If so, which docs are relevant, please?

        Yes (since 3.1) - see vga(4), vgl(3) and perhaps syscons(4).

1. frame buffer device supported by fbsd?

Hi! Does fbsd support the so-called frame buffer device? It
basically emulates text consoles in graphics mode and makes an
i386 enter graphics mode at boot up, similar to a Mac (if I have
understood it correctly). The frame buffer device text consoles
are eye candy and give you e. g. 132 columns x 64 lines at 1024
x 768 resolution.

Would much appreciate someone pointing me to appropriate docs.

Thanks!
