parallel port CD-RW (HP7200E) on FreeBSD?

Post by Stev » Sat, 17 Jun 2000 04:00:00

I hope I have the right group to ask this: Will FreeBSD (4.0-release)
support parallel port CD-RW (HP7200E) ?

Any kind of reply would really help, I've been trying to find this out for 5
weeks!

Thanks,
Steve

1. External, parallel port CD-RW (HP CD-Writer 7200) and Linux (RH7.3)

Hi all,

Does anybody know how to get linux to recognize this device?
(Hewlett-Packard CD-Writer Plus 7200, externel)

I found the paraport/paride stuff on torque.net, but it all seems horribly
out of date, refering to compiling in modules that are already in the
kernel, it seems.

If anyone could please give me /any/ hint, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Pablo
