I set FX86config, xinit, and link to /usr/X11R6/bin/X, but when I set "xdm"
in "ttys" and rebooted it, I tried to login in "xdm," and it still came back
"xdm" menu, which was "login and password," over and over again....both root
and user account.
Any idea PLEASE!!!!
Thanks alot,

I'm having the same problem. I have noticed that xsm is core-dumping. I
have also setup .xsmstartup files, which appear to be ignored.

Frustrated,
