FreeBSD 4.7-STABLE Kernel (update)

Post by Philipp Levi » Thu, 14 Nov 2002 22:20:47

I tried the following:

I installed 4.7-RELEASE from the Mini ISO CD:
# uname -a
FreeBSD net 4.7-RELEASE FreeBSD 4.7-RELEASE #0: Wed Oct 9 15:08:34 GMT 2002

Now I used cvsup to get the sources:
# cat /usr/local/etc/cvsup/sup/stable-supfile
*default tag=RELENG_4_7
*default host=cvsup7.de.freebsd.org
*default prefix=/usr
*default base=/usr/local/etc/cvsup
*default release=cvs delte use-rel-suffix compress

src-all

Now making /usr/src/sys/i386/conf/NET:

Then:
vi /etc/make.conf (remove # before CFLAGS= -O -pipe and NOPROFILE
=true)
cd /usr/obj && chflags -R noschg * && rm -rf * (But there were no
files)
cd /usr/src
make buildworld
script /var/tmp/kernel.out
make buildkernel KERNCONF=NET
exit (script).

The buildkernel stops with the error:

Any ideas?

[snip]

Perhaps not spelling delete properly screwed up your sources?
