1. cannot execv /var/spool/lpd filter

I set up a couple of remote printers using printertool. They are HP
Laserjet 4000 series. When I try to print I get an error in syslog:
lpd[912]: cannot execv /var/spool/lpd/<name>/filter.
Here are the rights in lpd:
drwxr-xr-x 2 root lp 4096 Dec 13 11:20 lj4
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 5 Dec 13 11:12 lpd.lock
drwxr-xr-x 2 root lp 4096 Dec 13 11:14 oprm
Here are the rights for lj4:

I selected the HP 4/5/6 filter in printtool. Can someone help me figure
out why this won't print?
