It's in the ERRATA. Short answer - copy login.conf to /etc
        from the second CD .

The "unimplemented" Class value?

Post by Parrish Mye » Mon, 18 Aug 1997 04:00:00

I have just successfully installed 2.2.1-current (I believe).  I think the
instilation went ok.  I have a problem though... When I log on as root I
get an error about class 'root' non valid.  I have tried to look at all
the documentation I could but the documentation (at least for chsh)
states that the class function is not implimented yet.  This does not tell
me what a class is or how to stop the error that is generated.

To be a little more specific about the error... it is in the form of:

well it is something like that.  This error reoccures evey time a program
is run.  Now if this Class function in the user database information is
not implimented why are there errors? Has anyone had this problem?
