I use gnome2 with metacity, but gnome-session-save keeps messing up my desktop
at bootup. I have 4 work

Anyone know if this USB modem is supported in Fbsd 5.0 ?

Try it and find out; I think it *should* be supported by the install
disks, although I don't know it for a fact.
