CTM and 3.2-STABLE

CTM and 3.2-STABLE

Post by Neil Hoggar » Wed, 30 Jun 1999 04:00:00

Hi Folks,

I've been running 3.2-RELEASE for a number of weeks, and I'm very
happy with it. I'm intending to start tracking 3.2-STABLE via CTM and
I had a query that I wondered whether anyone out there could help me
with?

I've got the 3.2-RELEASE sources installed in /usr/src. The Handbook
suggests that RELEASE sources can be used to make a significant saving
on the initial download required to start off with CTM, but it isn't
obvious to me how I figure out what starter deltas I should download -
do the 3.2-RELEASE sources correspond to any particular src-3 delta
number?

Regards,

options        SMP                     # Symmetric MultiProcessor Kernel

options        APIC_IO                 # Symmetric (APIC) I/O
# Optionally these may need tweaked, (defaults shown):
